Worship Without Walls is not an organization, denomination, para-church, house-church "network" or anything else like that.  It's actually not much more than a website (an amateurish, hastily-contrived website at that) put together by Kyle Knapp, intended to share information and events, and hopefully help bring together believers in the Omaha area who are following Jesus outside of institutional religion (home churches, "free-range" christians, "simple church" people, organic fellowships, etc).

The WWoW site began as an advertisement for a celebration gathering some of us put together a few years ago in an attempt to bring together followers of Jesus in the Omaha area who have found or are seeking fellowship outside the confines of institutional religion.  This includes, but is not limited to, people who fellowship in "house churches", those who attend traditional churches but have questions regarding the Biblical validity or effectiveness of their current systems, or who feel stifled or unfulfilled by traditional religion, "loners" who have been wounded by churches and have nowhere safe to turn for fellowship and support, and others who, for a wide variety of reason, don't believe in "going to church".

I confess, I'm not very skilled at web programming, and this site has not evolved to the level of sophistication I'd originally hoped for it.  Eventually, maybe, we'll have a more interactive calendar, a more useful page of resource links (for now, look at Tuesday Together's resource page), possibly an interactive database of local/regional fellowship opportunities, and who knows what else. (suggestions welcome).
